Privacy Policy
In force from 19 October 2026.
1. Introduction
On The Radar AI makes short booth-style rap clips from photos at ontheradarai.video (the "Service"). This policy describes what personal information that involves, why we need it, who else receives it, how long it stays with us and how we keep it safe.
2. Information We Collect and Process
The data we hold varies with the features you use. It falls into these groups:
- Account information: your name, email address, login identifiers, profile settings, preferences and session records.
- Generation information: the photos you add to a booth scene (yourself, another adult who agreed, or a pet; two photos per clip), the left-right order you chose, the scene and resolution, the finished clips, the status and timing of each job, and your list of past creations.
- Payment and subscription information: which pack or plan you bought, your credit balance, order numbers, payment outcome, billing email, invoice data, renewal state and a small amount of payment metadata. Full card numbers stay with the payment processor and never reach us.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser, device and operating system, the pages and controls you use, timestamps, error logs, performance data and signals that help us spot abuse.
- Communications: what you write to support, including content reports, privacy requests and feedback, plus our answers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: storage that keeps you logged in, secures your session, remembers display choices, measures use and powers core features.
3. How We Use Information
We rely on this information to:
- Run the booth maker, your account, your creation history, plans and credits
- Confirm who you are at login, keep your session alive and help you get back in
- Send your photos together with the fixed scene direction to the model that renders the clip, then deliver the result to you
- Take payments, add or subtract credits, issue invoices and process cancellations or refunds
- Catch banned content, fraud, security problems and misuse
- Look into failed renders, watch site speed, learn which options people pick and improve the Service
- Answer support, content, legal and privacy requests
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
The legal ground depends on where you live. Most of the time it is the contract between us; in other cases it is our legitimate interest in a working, safe Service, a legal obligation, or your consent where the law requires it.
4. Photos and the Clips You Generate
To render the scene you choose, your photos, settings and results are processed and may be shared with outside providers of AI models, hosting, storage and safety checks. These models process your photos through the API provider Kie:
- GPT Image 2 composes the two uploaded photos into the studio scene.
- ByteDance Seedance 2.0 animates that scene using a fixed performance reference. The clip receives its template soundtrack after rendering.
There is no free-prompt text-to-video mode and no standalone image generator. If we add or swap a model, this list will be updated.
A face in a photo serves only as the visual reference for the clip you requested. We do not build face-recognition templates from it, and we do not use it to identify anyone. Uploaded photos are not used to train AI models on our side. Only upload yourself, adults who agreed to be in the clip and to its sharing, or pets you may photograph. Photos of minors are not allowed, and you should not upload confidential material or other people's personal data without the right to do so. The second person in a clip is handled exactly like you, and can write to support@ontheradarai.video to exercise their own privacy rights. Automated safety tools may screen uploads and results for prohibited content and abuse.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The maker depends on essential cookies and similar storage for login, account protection and basic operation. Beyond that, preference and analytics tools may store your choices, count how features get used, reveal slow pages and guide improvements.
Your browser lets you block or clear most of them. Turning off essential ones usually logs you out and breaks the maker. Where the law requires consent for non-essential analytics, we ask for it first.
6. How We Share Information
We never sell personal information. Each party receives only what its job needs:
- AI and content-safety providers that process your photos and clips to render them or check them for safety
- Cloud hosting and storage providers on which the Service runs and where uploaded and generated files are kept
- Payment providers that process purchases, plans, refunds, fraud checks and tax or billing duties; the checkout page shows which one handles your order
- Login, email, analytics, monitoring and support providers we rely on to operate and protect the Service
- Authorities or other parties where the law or a legal process demands it, or where we believe in good faith that sharing is needed to protect users, rights, safety or the Service
- A successor organization in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of assets, under suitable protections
Contracts with these providers limit them to the task we engaged them for and require them to safeguard the data and treat it as confidential.
7. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to run the Service, show your history, keep things secure, settle disputes, enforce our agreements and satisfy legal, tax, accounting or regulatory rules.
- Account and generation data can be retained for as long as the account exists or the history feature is on.
- Your photos and finished clips can stay in My Creations or in whatever storage is needed to serve them.
- Billing and transaction records can be kept for the periods tax, accounting, payment, anti-fraud and dispute rules require.
- Security logs and support threads can be kept for a reasonable time based on operational and legal needs.
After we confirm that a deletion or account-closure request is genuine, eligible personal data is removed or de-identified within 30 calendar days. Encrypted backups can survive for up to 90 further days until the backup cycle overwrites them. A small set of records may be held longer for legal compliance, fraud prevention, chargebacks, disputes or defending legal claims.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Your local law may give you some or all of the following rights:
- Learn what categories of personal data we collect, why, and who receives them
- See your personal data or receive a copy
- Fix inaccurate or incomplete account details
- Have eligible personal data erased and your account closed
- Limit or object to certain processing
- Receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable file
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on it
- Stop marketing email while still getting receipts and security messages
- Complain to the data-protection authority in your country
How to exercise your rights
Email support@ontheradarai.video from the address tied to your account, with Privacy Request or Account Deletion Request as the subject. Name the right you are using, whether that is access, correction, export, restriction, objection, closure or deletion, and point us to the account or data in question.
To avoid handing over or erasing someone else's data, we may ask for reasonable proof that the account is yours. We confirm and complete eligible requests within 30 calendar days of receiving them. When the law permits more time for a complicated request, we explain the reason and give a new date. Your display name and some profile fields can be edited directly in Settings.
Closing an account does not remove payment, security, fraud or dispute records that the law requires us to keep, or that we have a legitimate need to hold for the safety of the Service and the people using it.
9. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed by us and our providers outside the country where you live. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, for example contractual clauses, recognized adequacy decisions and access controls.
10. Security
We protect information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, need-to-know access, protected credentials, activity logs, and content-safety and anti-abuse checks where appropriate. No online service can be made perfectly secure.
If a personal-data incident occurs that the law requires us to report, we will notify affected users and the competent authorities within the time the law sets.
11. Children's Privacy
Children under 13 are not the audience of the Service, and we never knowingly gather personal information from them. Any higher minimum age set by the laws that apply to you also applies. Photos of minors may not be uploaded. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will investigate and delete eligible data.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to, or be used alongside, outside services such as the social apps where you post your clips. Those services follow their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover information they collect themselves.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy whenever our product, our providers or applicable law changes. Each new version will be published here under a fresh date, with extra notice of significant changes where the law requires it.
14. Contact Information
Any privacy question, and any request to see, fix, export, object to or erase your data, can go to:
- Email: support@ontheradarai.video
- Website: ontheradarai.video
